The application deadline for gaming start-ups to debut their companies to the wider gaming industry at Pitch ICE, which this year will take place in a new high profile location on the ICE London show floor, closes on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 17:00 GMT. The Pitch ICE initiative in 2020, which provides start-ups with a gateway to industry investors and strategic partners, is set to be more influential than ever, with this year's pitches taking place in the high-footfall area adjacent to the ‘industry-first' Esports Arena at the world's largest gaming technology showcase (4-6 February 2020, ExCeL London, UK).
Commenting on the scale of opportunity for start-ups in 2020, Ewa Bakun, Clarion Gaming's Director of Industry Insight and Engagement, and the person responsible for driving Pitch ICE, explained: "Every year around 20 start-ups get selected to receive a unique opportunity to pitch their companies at the world's largest gambling show, ICE London, attended by 35,000+ visitors over the three days of the show and we want to ensure every eligible company gets the opportunity to promote themselves this year. Many of our start-ups, such as 1SpinMillionaire, BlueBat Games, Bookee, Chalkline Sports, Colossus Bets, FastFantasy, Fresh8 Gaming, Gamevy, numberFire and SkillCorner, have secured important investments and acquisition partners following their pitch presentations and participation."
She added: “We already have some very exciting submissions in the pipeline and this is a final callout for those entrepreneurs who are ready to share their unique perspective and who are looking to take their scalable business solution to the next level. The deadline for video submission and application is this Thursday, 9 January, 2020 and, following this, our Pitch ICE panel will select the shortlist in mid-January, who will then go on to take the stage at this year's record breaking ICE London."
