Operators are facing an unprecedented challenge: the relentless onslaught of sophisticated bot attacks. These "bad bots", armed with credentials scraped from the dark web, are capable of executing a multitude of fraudulent activities, including exploiting sign-up bonuses, placing illicit wagers, and cashing out ill-gotten gains. The battle between iGaming operators and cybercriminals has taken a new turn with the recent advancements in generative AI (Gen AI) technology. I will discuss some of the recent advances in Gen AI and machine learning (ML) predictive models which aim to thwart these attacks.
