Julia is a seasoned professional in the gambling industry, beginning her career in 2005. Along the way she’s picked up iGaming IDOLS’s “Young Leader of the Year” award in 2023, the Patty Becker Pay it Forward Award in 2024 as well as ELG 40 under 40. 
She is a fighter - and can be found in Muay Thai training camps in Thailand twice a year! It’s experience that comes in handy in her igaming career - no, not for a knockout blow during contract negotiations, but because discipline, endurance and knowing when to take risks are crucial in leadership too. 
Julia cares passionately about paying forward the help she’s received in her own career (she didn’t have a ‘traditional’ route into management herself and she loves seeing people from different backgrounds succeed). She’s the co-chair of Global Gaming Women's International Committee, moderated a Lean-in circle and actively organises and hosts GGW events in Europe. Overcoming an initial nervousness, she’s now known for speaking on panels and at events about her experiences and vision for an inclusive future for the gambling industry.
