Lara Falzon, a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants and CPA warrant holder, joined the industry in September 2013 as the Financial Controller and later Group Financial Controller for King.com creator of the Candy Crush franchise. Following her departure from King.com in June 2016, Lara served as Group CFO at Evoke Gaming Ltd until April 2018.
Subsequently, Lara then joined as a CFO at Red Tiger Gaming. As the CFO of casino software provider Red Tiger Gaming, she navigated its sale to NetEnt AB for over US$315 million. Upon the sale to NetEnt AB, Lara was appointed as NetEnt AB’s CFO where she also played an integral role in the sale of NetEnt to the world’s leading live casino company, Evolution Gaming (now Evolution), for US$2.1 billion.
After NetEnt’s sale to Evolution, Lara briefly joined Capricorn Capital in April 2021 in the capacity of CFO until October 2021 where she then joined Bragg Gaming Group as the President, COO, Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of the Audit Committee. During her tenure at Bragg Gaming Group, Lara was in charge of all operational functions within Bragg Gaming Group including commercial, marketing, legal and managed services for both EU and North America. Lara also spearheaded Bragg Gaming Group’s acquisitions of Wild Streak Gaming and Spin Games. Lara also held personal management licenses in UK, Ontario, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan and Connecticut.
Lara departed Bragg Gaming Group in December 2023 in order to take on the role of CEO at AvatarUX Group.
Prior to joining the industry, Lara worked at Ernst & Young as an Associate in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services sector until September 2009 and subsequently held the position of a Finance Manager at Falzon Group of Companies until December 2010 and was also the Head of Accounting and Controlling and a Company Secretary with BMW Group Malta (a subsidiary of BMW AG).
