Mr. Gilbert Remulla was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) in August of 2022. Although relatively new to the gaming industry, Mr Remulla actively participated in the decision-making that has led to the record-breaking performance of PAGCOR and the Philippine gaming industry over the recent year.

After working as a broadcast journalist for seven years in the Philippines' largest television network back in the 1990s, Mr. Remulla successfully ran for a seat in the Philippine House of Representatives and served for two terms. Afterwards, he became a hotelier and restaurateur, and was an active board member of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines.

Mr. Remulla graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Communications Degree in 1993. In 1999 he received his Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York.
