The Secretary of Prizes and Betting Secretariat at the Ministry of Finance is responsible for regulating the betting sector in Brazil. A lawyer specializing in Public and Regulatory Law, he has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, with roles at the Civil House, ANTF, BDMG, Desenvolve SP, and Manesco Advogados. He is pursuing a PhD in Law at UFMG, focusing on the National Financial System and combating illicit activities. He holds a Master’s degree from the “Erasmus Mundus” program in European Law, completed at the universities of Hannover and Católica Portuguesa, and a law degree from USP. His career combines technical expertise with strategic work in regulation and public policy.
