Russell Mifsud is an Economist with over 15 years of experience in the online gambling industry. Before joining KPMG in 2014, he led Affiliation and Strategy at a UK-based matched-betting company. At KPMG, Russell has positioned Malta as a global Centre of Excellence and is a recognised expert in regulation, growth strategies, responsible gaming, ESG, and M&A. A founding member of KPMG's global gaming group, he leads high-profile projects for top-tier organisations. Russell is an ELG 40 Under 40 honouree, serves on the boards of the Malta Remote Gaming Council and Silicon Valletta, and founded the KPMG Malta eSummit and Gaming Faculty. He frequently shares his expertise with boards, associations, and international conferences.
