He is a qualified lawyer specializing in Gaming & Gambling law, an expert in regulation, contract law and litigation for both online and land-based operators, and gambling-related stakeholders in Spain.

Santiago developed the first online gambling regulatory regime in Colombia which has been held up by experts as a model and widely imitated in jurisdictions across Latin America.
